***update 8-15-09***Little Trisket made it through her surgery...shes a tough cookie for sure! Vet says shes probably only about 9 months old and the leg had to have been mangled like that since she was a young pup. Trisket should be ready for adoption in about a month....we are still looking for sponsors to help with her vet bills!!

Trisket is a darling little Pom that one of our volunteers found in a kill shelter and just couldnt leave without her. She has a badly broken front leg (both bones snapped in half) but it is an old injury and can not effectively be repaired, calling for amputation. She is very sweet and loves people but is not fond of big dogs unless they keep their distance. She does better with non-intrusive small dogs than anything.
