update 10-3-09**Kirby got his first real grooming and attended his first event!! He looks wonderful!

update 9-17-09**as you can see, Kirby has recovered from his bout with pneumonia and has finally starting putting on weight. He is still waiting for his new family to find him! He is a very docile guy and is almost completely crate trained now!


Kirby is a sweet guy who needs a special home. He is only 4 yrs old but almost completely blind due to scarring on his eyes. When we first found him in a kill shelter his coat was very long and matted. He had many raw hot spots under his matts and you couldnt even see his face. Now all shaved down and bathed, it is apparent that long term neglect has left him with very little sight. He does seem to see shadows and will follow your voice eagerly. Kirby seems to fine with other adult dogs who do not jump on him. Due to his special needs, Kirby will not be placed into a home with children.
