update 7-8-09***Diamond is doing very well in foster care. She is fat and happy now and definitely seems younger than 13...she bounces around the yard and likes to play! The vet who spayed her says shes probably only 7 or 8 years old!!!! She can be dominant with other females and does need a home with no other female dogs please....



Imagine giving your beloved family 13 years of companionship. Then being dumped in a shelter! Poor Diamond is about to turn 13 years old and to reward her for her love and devotion, she was dumped in a kill shelter! One of our volunteers happened to be there thank goodness, and just hours after being abandoned by her family, Diamond was in a car headed for foster care. She is a very sweet, mild mannered lady who just wants a loving home for her golden years. She seems to be housebroken, and is fine with other dogs large and small. She seems to have no interest in kitties either. She rides very well in the car and does well on lead.
